“It was a beautiful day with great views. The guides were friendly and accommodating when I realized they were double kayak set ups but I was expecting a single. The landscape and various terrain (Mangroves, Cliffs, Jungle, Beaches) were absolutely stunning. The only critique I have is transpiration could be more effective as you only spend about two hours on the water but we sat around for a long while both before we got on the water and while we waiting for the trucks to take us back to the hotels. Overall I would do it again and found great value.”

However, be prepared for noticeable countercurrents, waves, and wind in the coastal section. Scenically, the tour is definitely enjoyable and varied. That said, the guides seemed a bit overwhelmed with the large group (more than 10 kayaks) and didn’t provide enough guidance or support. Since the participants had very mixed experience levels – from confident paddlers to those who still hadn’t figured it out by the end – the flow of the tour felt somewhat disjointed.
